Falcons 2011 CIF season is dedicated in memorial of Don Cerone and Denny Morrow. Coach Cerone and Mr. Morrow had profound impacts on SRHS Falcons Hockey and each of our players who knew them.

Check the schedule for game days and game times. Look under GAME SCHEDULE Tab above.If its raining out, call the ESC hotline to see if games are on. They usually are unless there is extreme wind.ALWAYS CHECK if in doubt.
CIF season has started. From this date forward (Nov 28) all practices (Friday 5:20 ESC) are MANDATORY for all players. If player can not make practice or any game, the player MUST call and personally speak to one of the coaches at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled practice or game. Email is not an acceptable communication for missed practice. The ONLY exceptions to the 24 hour rule are illness/emergencies.
ALL players to be at the rink for each game at least 20 minutes prior to game time and in full gear at least 10 minutes before game time. All players must check their bags BEFORE they leave home to make sure that BOTH jerseys are in the bag along with all other gear. NO EXCEPTIONS. Make sure your gear is ready to play == wheels, bearings, etc.

MUST HAVE - Helmet straps (all 3), helmet must have ear guards and full face shield, wheels on all axles, matching uniforms (pants and jerseys provided), roller hockey gear (gloves, shin pads, elbow pads, cup/girdle,skates, stick, helmet) -- NO EXCEPTIONS for missing gear. August 12, 2011. All Falcons are deeply saddened by the passing of our beloved AD, Denny Morrow. Denny was a true inspiration to all who met him, athlete and non athlete alike. We offer our deepest condolences to his family and friends and will do our best to insure that his legacy of friendship, caring interest, and love for others lives on in each of our lives.
August 9, 2011. The Scripps Ranch Falcons staff, alumni and present players, express their deepest sympathies to the family of Donald A. Cerone, our coach, friend, mentor, and visionary leader. Coach Cerone will be greatly missed by those who knew him and his legacy does live on in the players he coached and helped grow into adulthood.

Falcons, the coaches are all very proud of how you played, and especially of your character. Our heads are held high as we understand what it means to win with grace and lose with dignity. You played a great game tonight against a tough team and we gave them all they wanted and more.Be proud of your accomplishments --not just on the rink, but in school and in life. You are all winners and will be successful in whatever you pursue.

LAST SEASON 2009-2010
The varsity FALCONS finshed ranked 3 in the CIF League.
The JV FALCONS finished 2nd in their division! GREAT JOB Team!
Scripps Ranch High School has a history of having the top teams in both Varsity and Junior Varsity roller hockey, winning CIF championships in 2003, 2004, and 2005. The Falcons wear their jerseys proudly as representatives of SRHS.
SRHS Varsity players come from ice hockey and the Marshall Middle School Roller Hockey program, also played at Kit Carson Park, Escondido CA.The Marshall team likewise has a top level program with multiple Middle School Championships to their credit.
Falcons tryouts are held each year for both SRHS and Marshall.
This year promises to be another exciting season as our players face-off with talented high schools from all over San Diego County.
Roller hockey began in San Diego in 1994 as a
campus Club Sport and became recognized as a CIF sport thanks to the hard work of Don Cerone.
Thank you to all of the coaches, players and parents who forged a future for roller hockey in San Diego.
